Traversées
Exposition de fin de résidence
02→26.06.22

The Carrefour des Arts Foundation is pleased to present the works of its four 2021-2022 laureates, created during their 9-month residency. From one workshop to the next, immerse yourself in four worlds in dialogue. From the past, memory, remembrance or the future, each artist has created his/her own story and shares his/her relationship to the world around him or her.
Concerned about the future of our societies, Camille Dufour creates apocalyptic universes where nature as well as beings suffer the ravages of our contemporary lifestyles. Nature is also at the heart of Teo Becher's preoccupations, who is interested in the links it maintains with humans in the urban forest, the Forêt de Soignes. For Mégane Likin, the history of a family that she deciphers from a box found at a flea market is a pretext for a personal and imaginary journey that takes the form of evanescent landscapes. In Paul Gérard's studio, you can live an immersive experience immersing yourself in the history of hidden homosexuals in the 1960s in Brussels. Based on a family history, he creates a setting between fiction and truth, between investigation and creativity. From engraving to photography, through painting and installation, four Traversées to discover until June 26.
